Talyn’s philosophy on health and wellness centers around holistic knowledge of the body and mind. She utilizes Ancestral Knowledge, Research-based Wellness Practices, Wisdom, Intuitiveness, Her Personal 11 year Fitness Journey and Sustainable Training and Recovery methods to increase long-term functionality. Talyn first became a Fitness Instructor in 2018 when serving in the Navy. She began Personal Training after years of focusing on her own body building journey. She learned the intricate aspects of making health the center of your life and believes one must instill a specific mindset in order to achieve long-standing results. She graduated from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in 2021 and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 4 years. She has followed a Plant-Based diet and has been studying herbalism for 5 years. With a diverse background, she hopes to share non-traditional and holistic ways of nurturing and supporting the body and mind. Some of you may be wondering, What does Bars Ova Bars mean? The first ‘Bars’ in Bars Ova Bars, speaks to the term ‘Bars’ as a substantial and resonating term, often used to describe the credibility of an artist’s lyricism or an individual’s knowledge. The second ‘Bars’ speaks to several things, most notably, the ‘Bars’ we often attribute to fitness or the gym, prison ‘Bars’ (whether mental or physical), and any other Barriers that we may face when trying to meet our goals. Talyn strives to utilize wisdom, discipline and knowledge to collaborate with or to overcome aspects that may intimidate us when embarking on a growth journey.
